Chaotic Phenomenon in the Impact-free Model of Mechanism Clearance Revolution Joints

  • The system composed of a steel ball and a socket is taken for example to study the impact properties so that the mathematics model of describing the movement of ball in socket is set up and the calculation is computer-programmed. The research shows that on a certain condition, the system is very sensitive to initial value, confirming the existence of chaos in the system.
