Research on Dynamic Adaptive Intrusion Detection Model

Based on the analysis of the limitation of traditional intrusion detection systems, the concept of dynamic adaptive IDS is proposed, and a model of dynamic adaptive intrusion detection and response is estab-lished. By dynamic association among its elements and adaptive policies, this model provides dynamic adaptability to the changing environment and attacks with its dynamically configurable architecture, functions, and management. In addition, the concept of coordination domain is proposed in order to facilitate the management of coordinative detection.
