  • Self-propagation high-temperature synthesis (SHS) is studied for combustion synthesis of titanium carbide. The topics include the effects of different kind of raw materials, the dilute content and green density on combustion temperature, and velocities in the process, eet. The mechanism of combustion synthesis of titanium carbide is presented on the basis of experimental results.
