    Crystal Growth and Laser Action of ZnWO4:Cr3+

    • Optical crystals ZnWO4:Cr3+ with doping levels of 0.005, 0.02, 0.05 wt. percent Cr2O3 had been grown with Czochralski method. Emission of these crystals was observed when they were excited by a 532nm laser beam emitted by a frequency doubling YAG: Nd3+. Change of the wave shape has been observed by the using of a resonator. The laser threshold of the system is about 38 mJ.
