An Experimental Study on Rock Compressing and Emission of Electromagnetic Waves before Earthquake

The writers of this paper made 35 experiments on rock compressing with a view to searching for the relationship between earthquake and the abnormal emission of electromagnetic waves, these experiments show that electromagnetic waves are emitted in the fracturing process of compressed rocks. This discovery is of some value to the prediction of imminent earthquakes. In the paper, the writers also quote a few earthquake examples.
