Investigation on Quality of Permanen Mold Casting’s Surface on Aluminium Alloy
General rules about forming smooth surface on a casting have been investigated with plate samples. Pouring and cooling conditions and reasonable structure of a coating are proposed. Some typical castings have been produced with satisfactory results. The roughness of the castings, with ease, reaches to a level of Ra0.8~1.6μm.
