Study on the Quality Improvement of Cast Iron Piano Plate and Its Production

A kind of casting piano plate is produced. It uses cast iron of high ratio of Si to C, pattern plate and standard molding flask and, separates the facing sand from backing sand, which adopts inoculation techniques under low-energy consumption blower.This kind casting piano plate is of high strength, low residual stress, high accurate size and with low waste rates. To further improve the quality of the piano plate, resinous facing sand molding mothod is studied and used as well.
