    Experimental Study of Separating CH4/N2 by Using Ti Modified Activated Carbon

    • For methane(coal mine ventilation air methane) enrichment and separation,Ti modified method of activated carbon adsorption material(AC) was studied.The effect on separation performance of CH4/N2 was discussed.The results show that pore diameter distribution of Ti modified activated carbon after roasting at 1 100 ℃ and N2 protection is more uniform;CH4 adsorption quantity reaches 34.4 mL/g and increases 51.5% compared with unmodified activated carbon and Ti modified activated carbon at 160 ℃ hydrothermal method;CH4 breakthrough point of atmospheric breakthrough curve lags 41% and 50% respectively compared with unmodified activated carbon and Ti modified activated carbon at 160 ℃ hydrothermal method.
