Abstract
Present situation and developing trend of neural network used in robot control are summarized and the newest international research fruits in this field are presented.On the basis of analysis and comparison,the theories and methods developed in literatures that have been published during the last decade are classified according to neural network's application in different robot research aspects.The study of combining neural network with flexible robot,redundant robot and cooperating robot is an important aspect in subsequent research.Neural network's practical application in robot system is another crucial aspect demanding extensive work.
