  • This paper is intended to introduce the evolution of an expert system used for the evaluation of oil gas resources in a field. A new knowledge base is designed;a knowledge representation form is adopted, in the course of designing a reasoning machine, relying mainly on a forwordness oriented reasoning machine. Moreover,the explanation and implementation of the system are presented.
