The Crystal Growth, Characterization of Doped Zinc Tungstate and Its Application

The development of research on doped zinc tungstate single crystals is reviewed. The following topics are discussed: The scintillation of doped zinc tungstate, the tunable laser act of the transition metal ion doped zinc tungstate and the up-conversion luminescence of rare ion doped zinc tungstate. Besides the future development of Doped Zinc are outlined.
