Abstract
The existing broad authentication protocol in wireless sensor networks had high communication overhead when the date stream was intermittent and random. To solve this problem, the message-driven μTESLA protocol was present. The key chain was used only when the message occurs,so the communication overhead was decreased.Multilevel key chain and merkle-based parameter distribution scheme were also used to resolve DOS attack and the network connectivity problem.Resultsshow that the communication overhead of this protocol is lower than the tree-based and multilevel μTESLA protocol in the intermittent date streams.
