Elastic-Plastic Finite Element Analysis of Composite Core Walls With Concrete Filled Steel Tube Columns and Concealed Steel Truss

    • In order to optimally design core walls with concrete filled steel tube columns and core walls with concrete filled steel tube columns and concealed steel truss, on the basis of test, the models were set up and nonlinear analysis was made in a horizontal load by the general finite element analysis software ABAQUS. By the correct model, the axial compression ratio, depth-width ratio and eccentricity were changed to study the impact on the model. The analysis results show that by increasing axial compression ratio, the load-carrying capacity increases at first, decreases in the end, and the ductility reduces. By increasing the depth-width ratio, the ductility of the model is increased and overall bending effect is more obvious. By the torque increasing, the load-carrying capacity of the model is decreasing gradually
