    A Finite Element Analysis of Pulsatile Flow in Curved Artery

    • The theoretical model and boundary conditions of blood flow in the aortic arch are first given. Then according tO the conditions of physiological pulsatile flow, the finite element numerical simulation of the blood flow in the aortic arch is made. Finally, the calculated results and the fluid dynamics mechanism of atherosclerosis are analyzed.
