    On the Technological Performance of BZF Series Resin Sand Which Condenses at Normal Temperature and Its Application

    • This article introduces a resin series BZF, which will condense at normal temperature, for using in casting iron. This BZF series includes BZF-65, BZF-70, and BZF-75 classified according to their content of furfuryl. Systematic exploration has been made on the technological performance and influening factors of the BZF-65 resin; especially on sand quality, the temperature and humidity of the environment, and the effect of the solidifying agent and the added material on its technological performance. The various types of resin have been used with good results in the production.
