Static and Dynamic Characteristics of Bi-directional DC-DC Converter With a High Conversion Ratio

An active-clamp circuit is presented to avoid the surge-current in buck-boost converter with large-turns-ratio transformer,which is used as a bidirectional DC-DC converter with a high conversion ratio.The theoretical analysis and experimental results of steady-state and dynamic characteristics of it show that the output voltage linearly incremented and successfully avoided the surge-current phenomena.
