Realization of Virtual Campus Cruise System

In order to make up for the deficiency of some popular Virtual Campus Cruise Systems, the authors adopted Visibility Preprocessing Technology to speed up the scene rendering and utilized interactive technology of VRML and Java to improve the interaction of users and visual scene. They studied the above mentioned two key technology firstly, then discussed some questions in system realization, finally developed the Campus Cruise System for Beijing University of Technology, which made a good balance on aspects of the speed of rendering, the realism, the stableness and the convenience.
