Research on Distribution Characteristics of Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons in Main Traffic Line Crosses of Beijing Urban District

In order to inspect the distribution characteristics and the concentration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) along the traffic lines, a systematic analysis and monitoring measures of PAHs were adopted. The systematic sampling of atmospheric particle was taken at seven busiest traffic crosses in winter (season for beating supply) and summer (season without heating supply). By abstract and concentra tion, the samples were analyzed with HPLC-fluorescence detecter. Regardless the season with or without the heating supply, the concentration of PAHs shows close correlation with that of Benzoa pyrene.
