The Influence of Rare Earth Oxide on the Mechanical Properties of Molybdenum
The influence of rare earth oxide La2O3 on the mechanical Properties of sintered MO bars and as-deformed Mo wires were investigated. It is shown that both strength and ductility of Mo bars and wires are greatly improved by the addition of La2O3, exhibiting an comprehensive strengthening and toughening effect.
