    Influence of Mechanochemical Effect on Physical Properties of Cement Clinker

    • The cement clinker was activated by mechanochemistry with the high-energy planetary mill.The effect of grinding on particle size,mineralogical characterizations,microstructure,and thermodynamic properties were analyzed by using XRD,SEM,FI-IR and DSC.Results show that the clinker grinding results in crystal structure disorder,dehydroxylation reaction,and Si-O breakage,which increases its activity.The particles of clinker are reduced and tend to be spherical after grinding.
