Study on Concentration Polarization Phenomena in Ultrafiltration Process——Affects of Protein Adsorption on Flux

Photo-electric method was used for direct measurement of concentration profile in boundary layer and for the calculation of additional resistance of membrane during ultrafiltration. On the basis of the measurement, adsorption of protein molecules on the surface of membrane was described quantitatively. Affects of membrane material, solute and solution concentration on protein adsorption were discussed.
