Abstract
Aqueous polyurethane emulsion adhesive was prepared from polyether toluene diisocynate (TDI) and dimethylol propionic acid(DMPA). The effects of DMPA dosage and the variation of R value(n (NCO)/n (OH)) at a fixed DMPA dosage on the properties of emulsion were determined. Results show that the variation of DMPA dosage and R value has great effects on hygroscopicity, mechanic and thermal properties of emulsion-cast film.
