Ridge Regression Spectrophotometry to the Determination of Multicomponent Phenols in Waste Water

  • A method of spectrophotometry of combining ridge regression with cluste-factor analysis in simultaneous determination of multicomponents was proposed. The basic principle and computing of this method were discussed. This method was applied to simultaneous qualitative and quantitative of five volatile phenols in waste water. Satisfactory results were obtained.
