Investigation of the Transfer of the Rare-earth Elements in the Process of the Arc Welding

The possibility of the transfer of the rare-earth elements at high temperature in. the process of the arc welding is investgated. An example of welding of OCr25Al5 steel is given.
The thermodynamic calculation and the experimental results proved that it is possible to transfer rare-earth into a welding pool.
Based upon this conclusion experimental studies of various factors affecting on transfer efficiencies of rare-earth elements are also carried out.
