Improvement of Characteristics of a Linkage with Clearances by Using an Optimal Spring
This paper analyses the shaking force, shaking moment and input torque of a planar 4-bar mechanism with clearances and makes some suggestions on how to use an optimal spring to improve the characteristics of the mechanism. The reasonableness and effectiveness of the method proposed are verified through numerical calculations.
