Abstract
Procedure for extracting the VEP (Visual Evoked Potential) signal via the well-known Mallat algorithm in the realm of wavelet analysis is derives in this paper. Based on extensive simulations onthe VEP extraction, a real clinical application has been performed. Numerical simulation and clinical application results have shown that the wavelet transform technique can accurately identify the latency of the VEP by using a significantly reduced number of visual stimulation.
