Research on Climatic Evaluation Indicators for Highway

Research on impact of climate on highway requires climatic evaluation indicators to describe or to e- valuate climate processes and climate conditions impacting highway.Research on climatic evaluation indicators for highway is conducted to fulfill this requirement.Through analysis of characteristics of climate processes and climate conditions prominently impacting highway,evaluation indicators for solar radiations,high-tem- perature process,low-temperature process,freeze-thaw cycle,moisture condition,dry-wet cycle,process of high temperature with moisture or precipitation,process of freeze-thaw cycle with moisture or precipitation, extremely low temperature are constructed respectively.Indicators evaluating impact of climate on highway construction are also given.Then,system of climatic evaluation indicators for highway is built,which provide references for research on impact of climate on highway.
