Researches on the Shape Wheel Material in Coal Machines

In order to increase working life of the shape wheel, the boron alloy was added to the original shape wheel cast iron containing HT25-47. The test results indicate that the boron content of the shape wheel must be controled in the range of about 0.06%, the phosphones content in the range of about 0.30%. The hard microstructere of the shape wheel could make the boron carbide under control, it's shape could be formed in intermittent lumps, not in needle or ledeburite. The working life of the boron cast iron shape wheel is twice as long as that of HT25-47 shape wheel, production per ton only increases about 50 yuan.
