Practical Measurement and Rapid Analyse of Positive and Negative Sequence Components of Voltaqe,Current and Power in an Unbalanced Threephase Threeline System

A graphical chart for rapid finding the positive and negative sequence components from the observed line voltage and current values of an unbalanced threephase threeline system is presented. A "four var-meter method" for measuring the difference between positive and negative sequence power components is also proposed. Since the sum of these two power components can be obtained by the usually used "two Wattmeter method", then the components can be Separated.
