Abstract
The equations of input and output for the displacements, velocities and accelerations of a planar 3-dof 8-bar linkage are presented, based on the inverse kinematics. The dynamic equations of this mechanism are derived,by applying the D'Alembert principle and using foree reduction method. Also the solutions of the direct and inverse dynamic equations are discussed and some numerical examples are given.
