    The Determination of Stress-Intensity Factors KI for Compact-Tension Specimens

    • Stress-intensity Factor KI value for specimens of Compact-tension was determined by photoelastic technique. The simulated cracks of specimens were made manually. The maximum shearing stress was obtained from isochromatic fringe. The experimental values KI were determined by the Taylor series correction method (TSCM) on the principle of least square. This accuracy meets the requirements of engineering problems.
