In this article we discuss a method of measuring the electromechani-cal coupling factor k of piezoelectric material working in the thickness mode, This method has the advantages of easy performance and high acc-uracy. Using this methol, we have measured the coupling factors of 36° Y-cut and X-cut Lithium Niobate. The results of the measurement have excellent consistency and repetition.
