A New Method of speedy Determination of Graphite Form-The Method of Measuring Surface Tension in Liquid Cast Iron

In this paper, the relationship between the surface tension of liquid cast iron and its graphite crystalloid form after solidification is studied at different temperatures, in which the contents of elements in cast iron are constant other than that of Mg and Re. The result shows that the graphite form of the cast iron could be predicted by measuring the surface tension of the liquid cast iron.
