Design and Manufacture of the Amplifier Based on Flexible Joint

The micro-manipulation actuators based on function material enjoy many advantages over their conventional counterparts, they have fine resolution, fast response, long life and no wear and tear. But the limited displacement narrowed their application. The application of the amplifier mechanism based on Flexible Joint may solve this problem. In this paper, the design and the manufacture of a high resolution, backlash free and displacement coupling free amplifier are discussed.
