    Experimental Study of Impingement Heat Transfer with Single Submerged Round Jets of Water

    • Experimental data were collected and correlated with sumberged round water jets.Local heat transfer characteristics were first reported under this condition.Stagnation point heat transfer rates are similar to those of free jets,its variation with Re number and nozzle-to-plate spacing can be predicted by correlations presented in present paper.Local heat transfer coefficient distributions were measured and correlated.Secondary peak of heat transfer coefficient was observed.
