  • Provides the definition of the accident potential for urban gas industry.And a compensating coefficient correction assessment method of accident potential is proposed.Based on Beijing liquefied petroleum gas storage and distribution station,the accident potentials are identified.The accident potentials are assessed by methods of expert evaluation,risk matrix,compensating coefficient correction,and the original grading recommendation values of the accident potentials are determined.This assessment method is applied to the gas enterprises of Beijing.The results showed that the original grading of the accident potential reflects the extent of the inherent hazard.
