Application and Prospect of Optical Fiber Sensing Technology in Detection

Aiming at the change of such characteristic parameters of light wave as intensity, phase, polarization and wave length, etc. in fibre-optic transmission, the authors analyze the principle and types of fibre-optical sensor, elaborate the characteristics of fibre-optic detection technique, review its application in China, and prospect the study on the real-time detection of fibre-optic sensor in the leakage of monitoring pipe.
