Abstract
By means of elastoplaslic finite element method, the free bulge forming of metal tubes under internal pressure and axial compression is simulated. Results of the calculation and experiments are in comparative agreement.
This paper investigates the occurrence of ringlike waves on the bulged shell and their motion, and makes an approach to the effect of loading.
