Two Problems About Applications of Stress Corrosion “Constant Displacement” Method to Intermediate and low Strength Steels

A lot of WOL testing called stress Corrosion "constant displacement" methed show that its unloading displacements cannot always maintain constant for intermediate and low strength steels, Three factors effecting on this phenomenon were investingated and a different veiw-point from that of compliance procedure was provided in this paper.
A principle of upper and lower bound for K_ISCC was also presented, by this principle a range value of K_ISCC for some low-strength and high-toughness steels can be determined with overloading procedures.
