      • Abstract
    • The major problem in State assignment of asynchronous Sequential machines results in determining an algorithm for coding internal states of a machine so that an economical and racefree realization is obtained.
      The assignment algorithm is programmed, using a partition structure1, for a TRS-80 Ⅱ micro computer in BASIC language. Execution time varies from a few minutes to tens minutes for dozens-cell problem.
