  • Profile Histogram Intersection (PHI) kernels and Detail Histogram Intersection (DHI) kernels function are proposed based on traditional Histogram Intersection kernels.Experiments on ORL and YALE databases show that DHI kernel achieves higher accuracy than that of HI kernel.
