Analytical Study on Impingement Heat Transfer with Free-Surface Soft Liquid Jets

An analytical research was conducted to iwvestigate heat transfer from target surface to impinging free-surface slot jests. The laminar hyolraulic and themal boundary layers were analyzed using integral method. Heat transfer coefficients were providecd both in stagnation zone and wall jet zone. Good agreement was obtained between the present analytical vesults and the experimental data from reference.
