Abstract
Based on analyzing the phase relationship between the input current and the induced electromotive force of a commutatorless motor, a simplified mathematical model(transfer functipn) is established. This model permits the design of the current and speed control loops to adopt the same principles as the dynamic design of armature DC motor drives. It has been justified experimentally with satisfactory dynamic performance.
