  • In contrast to the traditional microwave absorbing materials with the disadvantage of high density and immutable electromagnetic parameters, conducting polymers, a new type of microwave absorbing materials, were introduced. The structure characteristics, conducting mechanism and progress made in the eletromagnetic properties and microwave absorption power in radar frequency range are reviewed. The problems and challenges in absorbing mechanism, multi-frequency-pedigree stealth technique and smart stealthy materials were also discussed.
