  • In this paper, the speckle random phase shifter method for holographic image storage is presented and compared with random phase sampling method. The experimental results obtained agree well with the theory. By using new type of silver halide holographic plate and development processing of dilute solution, the diffraction efficiency of the reconstructed image of a girl is 2 percent, the resoluble line width is 20 μm and the number of resoluble grey level is 16.
