Abstract
Stress Corrosion threshold stress intensity KISCC and stress corrosion crack growth rate (da)/(dt) have been measured for 16Mn steel in H2S aqueous environments with WOL specimens. In order to monitor crack growth in WOL specimens, a technique of instrumented bolt was used in this work. It is found that the technique of instrumented bolt provides several advantages, including enough accuracy and convenient operating.
