Influence of Elastic Deformation on the Operational Performance of Bearing

The static operational preformance of large liquid film lubrication bearing with hollow shaft and soft metal bush is presented and calculated with the consideration of elastic deformatiom in this paper. The bearing capacity, preasure distribution, locus of shaft centre, friction, temperature rise and so on were analyzed based on these calculated results, which show that the elastic deformation has considerable influence over the operational performance of bearing. This phenomenon should not de neglected.
