    Simultaneous Determination of Multicomponent Phenols With Flow Injection Spectrophotometry by Fuzzy Cluster-Factor Analysis Decomposition in Waste Water Samples

    • A fuzzy cluster-iterative target transformation factor analysis (ITTFA) decomposition with flow injection spectrophotometry was used to determine simultaneous multicomponent phenols in the phenols-MBTH complex sestems. It adopts the fuzzy cluster analysis (FCA) method to select the wavelength points and singular value decomposition (SVD) method to decompose the original data matrix of absorbance and the ITTFA to carry out the quantitative analysis. The relative standard deviation is less 5% and recoveries 97.8%-101.93%, respectively. This method can be used for simultaneous determination of multicomponent phenols in wastewater with satisfactory results.
