    A Technological Method Used for the Separation of m-Cumic Acid from the Waste Water in the Production of m-Methyl Phenol

    • A method to recover m-cumic acid from the waste water, in the production of m-methyl phenol, is introduced in this paper. It turns out that a 3%~5% proportion of m-cumic asid by weight may be recovered from the waste water after acidification. The m-cumic asid recovered may be purified to 100% by way of recrystallization with water.
