Traffic Impact Analysis by Using Traffic Simulation

Traffic planning software was used to analyze the traffic, impact of new development project, and based up the traffic simulation results, the precision of traftfics planning software was discussed. This study discusses the application of foreign traffic simulation software named TSIS to solve and improve road network around Zhongguancun west zone in Beijing. Based on the comparison of traffic characteristics between foreign country and Beijing, the traffic simulation can be used in traffic impact analysis, the optimized scenario by reviewing the animated simulation has been developed.
